Roger and Myriam
To us, hospitality means far more than a nicely furnished apartment. We want to create a place you're glad to arrive at, where you feel at home quickly, and where you can relax and enjoy your time in our region — personal, warm, and with an eye for the small things that make a stay special.
Myriam loves travelling, discovering new places, and meeting people from all over the world. Through her work in the travel industry, she knows that personal recommendations, small gestures and insider tips are often what makes the difference.
Alongside Boettcher Tours, Myriam also runs Boettcher Consulting, helping companies of all sizes navigate AI transformation — bringing artificial intelligence into everyday work in a structured, meaningful way. Project plans and AI strategies by day, packing lists and day-trip tips by evening. As she puts it: "Trip planning and change management are more alike than you'd think — both are really about making sure everyone arrives relaxed."
She loves sharing her favorite spots, day-trip ideas and recommendations around Neulußheim, Speyer, Heidelberg, Mannheim and the Palatinate. Her wish is that you don't just spend the night here, but feel welcome, well looked after, and maybe even a little bit at home.
Roger is a passionate interim manager and brings exactly that professionalism to hosting too: structured, reliable and always solution-oriented.
At the same time, his heart beats for technology. Whether it's the solar system, home technology or working on the car — Roger loves understanding things, optimizing them, and getting them running reliably. With his calm, competent manner, he makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes too.
Our host team naturally also includes our cat Spotty. She is curious, self-assured, and firmly convinced that she's actually the most important host around here.
Spotty is the "leftover" of a small pack of two dogs and a cat that we brought with us from South Africa to Germany. She gave us a fair few sleepless nights back then — but she simply became part of the family. She's now reached the proud age of 18, and we love her dearly, even when she's a bit of a little terrorist in her ways.
You might run into her around the house or on the terrace during your stay. She doesn't live in the apartment itself, of course.
We travel ourselves with great passion and know how valuable it is to find a place on the road where you feel safe, welcome and comfortable.
That's why we don't just want to offer you a bed for the night, but a comfortable home away from home. Whether you're traveling for work, visiting family, attending an event at the Hockenheimring, or exploring our beautiful region — with us, you should feel well looked after from the very first moment.
